This area of ministry at PromiseLand offers a variety of opportunities for every technical and electronic guru out there with Lighting, Live Audio, Media Center, Monitors, Studio Sound, and Video/TV Productions! These ministries involve lighting for all our services and special events, live audio mixing, live graphics during services, professional level recording studio, and video and TV productions of all our services and special events.

Audio Ministry

"I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech". Psalm 17:6

Goals

The Audio Department Goals are to amplify sound and distribute at an optimal level to congregation while instilling confidence and maintaining consistency. Without this ministry it would be impossible to facilitate the Gospel word to all members of the Promiseland Family.

Responsibilities

The Audio Ministry is a very important ministry within the church structure. When the service starts we must be in place and ready to give God our very best.The Audio Department responsibilities include: provide amplified sound to an intelligible level, increase dynamic range while restoring it's natural quality, improve tonal quality, distribute audio throughout the church and security areas, maintain musicians out put levels so they may blend in with choirs, provide effects, play recordings, record all services and special events.

Lighting Ministry

The Lighting ministry provides visual enhancements for Worship and the Preaching of the Word. We provide lighting for the worship for services and special events.

The purpose of the Lighting Ministry is to help the presentation of the worship service flow in a manner where the singing, sermon and prayer are comforting so that the congregation can focus on God's Word and presence

Graphics Ministry

The graphics/monitor ministry is to provide visual enhancements for Worship and the Preaching of the Word. We assist the Choir and members of the church with lyrics for the worship for services and special events.

In addition to promoting various ministry and events in weekly announcements, we add video and still footage to reinforce the theme of the sermons and special concerts to bring members and visitors closer to their personal relationship with God.

Current requirements:

You can send us Images for ministry promotion are 800x600 (JPEGS)
Announcements should be short (not lengthy with too much info)
DVDs can be played but reviewed 3 days before service (to check audio levels and master)
MPEGS can be played on the Church PC but currently AUDIO is not exportable to the sanctuary
PowerPoint is acceptable (1 day before service)- Transition effects will not come over into SongShow Plus
Topical footage or special images need to be requested in advance (not day of service)

We offer training for all "faithful" individuals who would like to contribute and be a part of the ministry.

Currently we use:

Adobe PhotoShop
Song Show Plus (for Lyrics and annoucements)
Windows Media Player (MPEGs, MOVs & DIVX)
