..met in 2003 at a youth service in Austin. They were married in 2007, and have spent the years since traveling the united states and beyond as an evangelistic team.  They are thrilled to be "back home" in Texas fulfilling their Kingdom assignment to serve the body of Christ from the most beautiful city on earth. They aim to attain the unattainable in all things, with the deepest conviction that "nothing is impossible to them that believe!"

Associate Pastor Jarrod & Karissa Baker

...both come from a distinguished background of missionary families in Brazil. They met and married in the PromiseLand Church, where they now serve as the Youth Pastors. Their ministry has led Teen Destiny to victory against all odds in a world that has targeted teenagers for spiritual failure. The young people of this church have triumphed over drug use and gang violence, banding together in prayer pacts and Bible groups at their school campuses. They often express their burning passion to "rule over" the spiritual environment of their homes and schools as they shout the warlike proclamation that has rallied their spirits to the cause: "We don't take sides. We take OVER!"

Associate Pastor Charlie & Caren Lujan

...grew up worlds apart; he in Austin, and she in Brazil. They have both served the church in many capacities through the years. Now, their ministry has emerged as one of the leading initiatives into the future of PromiseLand Church, as they pastor the single adults of C.Our.Age Ministries with a passion to harness the trends of technological advance into effective Christian Community. Friday Night Life has become a rallying point for many college aged believers who desire an authentic worship experience and Christian fellowship geared to "speak the language" of their generation. They desire to reach the campuses, concert halls, social networks and coffee houses of their world with the message. If you join them on a Friday night, you are liable to hear them proclaim as one voice: "North! South! East! West! Give up the sons and daughters that belong to God!"
